Hey, I'm Danielle and I love food.

But it turns out that it does not love me back. I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer, gastritis, and duodenitis in September 2022.

I’ve known for years that gluten isn’t my friend, so I began to follow a (mostly) gluten free diet in 2013. Since 2013, I’ve eaten gluten free foods more than 90% of the time, with exceptions for vacations and special occasions. And now, almost 10 years later, it looks like I have to be more strict with my diet.

With a strict diet, dining out will be nearly impossible, especially in these first 90 days. So that means I have to learn to cook better. And I have to be creative if I want to eat food that is safe for my stomach, powerful enough to heal, and tasty enough to crave.
